Last Resort Clinic provides CAM Complementary Alternative Medicine. Put another way, Manual Medicine, which is typically called Complementary or Integrated Medicine due to being performed manually as in Massage Therapy or Reflexology. These Therapies have an effect on your health and are in fact Complementary to Allopathic Medicine. While Doctors treat your illness with drugs, we assist you back to health. CAM is very important in your Wellness Program. Many people are taking drugs for stress related disorders which cause further imbalance to the body. Truth is, stress related disorders respond best to Complementary Medicine without causing complications and/or side effects.
The staff at Last Resort Clinic have medical training and understand the difference between the two. We are willing to communicate with your treating physician so they may understand what you are experiencing in Therapy and how to integrate the two in a complementary way.
Who comes to the Last Resort Clinic?
Examples of those who come to Last Resort are many who have first tried medical intervention and are made worse, were told there is nothing wrong with them, cannot find a diagnosis, told, 'it is all in their head', who are almost ready to give up hope, anxious, confused, emotionally drained, finanacially drained from numerous tests and procedures to name a few. Most importantly, those who realize they must accept responsibility for and take an active role in regaining and maintaining health. This includes knowing when medical intervention is needed and when to see a health practitioner to assist in balancing and maintaining health.
